A little update Xo

Hello Lovely's!

so obviously since my last post i have been extremely inactive. That is for a number of reason such as school but the main one being - I just don't know what content i should put out here.

I established this blog as a sort of place where i could vent out my feelings on the life and the world around us. I wanted to follow in the steps of my idols such as SprinkleofGlitter and use it to do what i want to do, but honestly i don't know what i want to do....

I've been thinking over the past few weeks about what i want to do with my blog and how i want to put myself out there and i have come up with the idea of following an actual passion of mine instead of follow what others do. That passion is music.

I love singing and really want to challenge myself more with it. It is for that reason that i am going to be creating a YouTube channel for it. I will of course still be using this blog for my beauty related things and have no intention of quitting it, I just thought that i would make a post about my plans to let you all know about it.

In due course i will be getting back to my old ways of uploading a blog post every week - on a  Sunday most likely.

Once i have created my YouTube channel i will be leaving a link in my bio for it, but you do not in any way have to feel pressured to look at it. If you just want to keep up tot date with my blog then that is completely fine.

Thank-you for taking the time out to read my post and be sure to leave me a comment so i can see who actually likes my blog.

Good bye for now my Lovely's! <3

Monthly Favorites July 2016

Hello Lovely's,

So today's post is all about my monthly favorites for July 2016. Now i am a little bit late with this but i wanted to do a couple of posts before i did this one, just to get the hang of it :)

So the first thing i have been loving this month is the Rimmel London 25 hour long lasting foundation in the shade 100 ivory. I mentioned this in my last blog post as it is the foundation that i use everyday. I absolutely love this foundation because it actually does what it says on the packet. It really does stay on for a huge amount of time. This foundation is also particularly good if you sweat a lot as is stays matte throughout the whole day.

The next thing i have been loving this month is the Avon naturals playful pink daisy and citron lemon scented spritz. My mum recently ordered this from Avon for me as she knows i love scented spritzes and i can honestly say that this one smells amazing! Its the type of spray that leaves you feeling in a good mood after you use it.

My next thing on my list is the Hello Life book by Marcus Butler. I've had this book for over a year now and it still never fails to impress me. I've read and re-read it countless of times and the advice and tips are still relevant. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

The next item i have is another makeup item. This one is the Maybelline baby lips in the shade peach kiss. Now again i did get this ages ago now and went through a stage of using it non stop, however that did eventually fade out. Then a couple of weeks ago i re found my love for it. It is such a lovely summery color.

Next i have the makeup revolution London highlighter palette. Again i did mention this in my last post as i use it in my everyday makeup routine. This palette is absolutely, 100%, the best highlighter palette i have ever used. It isn't that pigmented so that it gives you a line of glitter where you applied it, however it does have enough pigment to give the goddess glow.

The next product i have is the Essence gel nail polish in the shade 47 Va Va Voom. This polish is extremely long lasting, even with people who bit there nails like me, and has an extreme pigment to it. Another thing i was pleasantly surprised with was the price of it. It is currently priced at around 1 pound 45. When i bought this product at that price i wasn't really expecting much but my oh my was i wrong. I would definitely recommend that you try this out.

Now sadly, that's all the favorites i have for this month therefore i hope you enjoyed reading this blog post and have a wonderful day!

Lots of love......

My everyday Makeup routine

Hello Lovely's

So i'm back here with another blog post, and today's post is my everyday makeup routine. I thought that this would be quite a nice post to do because i know that i love seeing other peoples makeup routines and finding out what they do so here it is.

To start off i first moisturize to make sure that my skin is extra smooth and to make sure my makeup stays on all day underneath my makeup. The moisturizer that i use is the clean and clear oil free on which i mentioned in my last post. I love this moisturizer because it keeps my makeup feeling and looking fresh all day as well as keeping my skin soft and smooth.

Next i use the Rimmel London lasting finish 25 hour foundation in the shade 100 ivory, with an Ovonni stippling brush. I apply this in circular motions making sure to bring the product down to my neck so i don't  have any unwanted lines :/

Next i powder my face using the Rimmel London stay matte lasting perfection powder in 001 Transparent. I apply this using the makeup revolution f104 brush all over my face. I love this powder because no matter what shade i am that day (because i do like to fake tan) The powder will always match my skin tone. It also leaves my face looking airbrushed.

After my face makeup has set, i next go in with my eyebrow routine. For this i first take the Rimmel London eyebrow pencil in 002 Hazel and fill in my basic shape of it. Once this is done i next take the shade coco brown from an eye shadow palette from Avon that i got ages ago and define the ends more with an angled brush. These two products together just make my eyebrows looking perfect and defined throughout the whole day.

Next i curl my eyelashes using the Primark eyelash curler, and then take Derma v10 black mascara on my top lashes only. I add a couple of coats of this and then go in with Kubiss brown mascara on my bottom lashes. I use a brown mascara on my bottom lashes because it leaves them looking much more softer than it would using a black mascara.

After this i then go in with some highlighter. I love using highlighter, especially in the summer, because it leaves my face with a nice soft glow. The highlighter that i have been loving recently is one from the makeup revolution London highlighter palette. All of the shades in this palette are amazing however, my favorite one is the baked one on the top right hand corner of the palette. I apply this using the Ovonni small tapered brush on the apples of my cheeks.

Finally i go in with the Mac Velvet Teddy lipstick all over my lips. Now i'm going to be honest i did only get this lipstick because i heard that Kylie Jenner wears it and didn't expect much from it however, after using it multiple times i've realized that it is a really good lipstick and does wonders on my lips.

So that's it for my second post. I hoped you enjoyed reading about what my makeup routine is.

Lots of love....

My Pamper routine essentials Xo

Hello Lovelys!

So i was thinking long and hard about what to do for my first blog post and couldn't decide on ANYTHING. I then got thinking about what posts i like to see on blogs and i thought...
what about doing a pamper routine essentials, because i for one love to find out what other people do and use. So here it is.

First of i would like to say that i believe that at least once a week everyone should take a couple of hours one night to just fully relax and give your body a good old pamper. I cannot stress enough to you how important this is not only for your physical well being but for your mental well being. In this day and age nearly everyone has something to stress about :( Whether it be tests coming up that could determine your future ( yes GCSE's and A levels i'm looking at you :/), a work deadline or even a family crisis, everyone needs to take time to just rewind and recharge.

So i prefer to take my pamper evenings on a nice Sunday evening. For me, Sunday is the most relaxing day of the week (especially if its raining Oooooooey). It is truly a day that i look forward to most out of the entire week!

Now the first thing i do before anything is take of all of the makeup junk that has been on my face for the whole week. Yukkk. I'm not going to lie and tell you that i have a perfectly structured skin care routine that i do every night of the week because, well, i don't. Theres plenty days where i simply just cannot be bothered to remove my makeup from my face at night. I mean i, and i'm sure many others, would prefer to just slump off to my nice and cosy bed rather than perfectly taking my makeup off :) So on my pamper evenings i like to actually take off my makeup and moisturize before i do anything else.

The makeup remover i use is the Garnier simply essentials soothing 2 in 1 makeup remover.

I love the way this makes my skin look and feel. It is truly amazing! With this i also like to use the Garnier fresh cleansing lotion. This and the makeup remover takes of the gunk on my face beautifully and leaves it feeling so soft.

I next like to moisturize with the clean and clear dual action moisturizer.

This is just the cherry on top of the cake for me for my skincare. This is extremely cheap however it leaves my skin so soft and prevents me from getting any spots, which is good because without this i would be a true spotty Lotty :/

The next thing i do is run myself a nice hot bath. Mmmmmmmm :) I love adding bubbles to my baths and tend to mix and match brands however, recently i have been loving the Radox stress relief bubble bath.

Now how to describe this? Honestly it does exactly what it says on the packet. It actually de stresses which i love. It is so fresh scented and leaves me and my skin smelling like freshly picked flowers :)

Next i get in the bath and shave my legs. I prefer to shave my legs in the bath because its just so much more comfier for me. Now, again, i mix and match with shaving products but the ones i have also been loving recently are just some standard razors and an argon oil conditioner.

This one here is from Wilkinson but my oh my is it good. It honestly leaves your legs feeling like a baby's bottom :)

After i have done this i love to just sit back and relax with a good book. Now i have many favorite Books but the one that i am re-reading at the moment is Life with a sprinkle of Glitter <3

I love this book it is so inspiring and truly a girls best friend! It has got so many diys, tips, and advice inside of it and i would highly recommend to anyone to get it.

After soaking up all the bubbles in the bath i finally drag myself out of it, which is always a hard task. Once out i pat myself dry and get some comfy pyjamas ready. Before i put them on i like to moisturize and fake tan my arms and legs. I do this using the Vaseline intensive care cocoa radiant lotion and the L'oreal paris sublime bronze self tanner.

These two together are a match made in heaven! They work so well together and give my arms and legs such a soft radiant glow with no patchiness!

After this i then get into my pajamas and set myself a little nail station up. fIrst i take off any remaining nail polish from that week using the wilkinsons nail polish remover and some cotton pads, and then i paint my nails whatever colour i'm going with for that week.

Lastly i moisturize my face again and then put some of the skin therapy tea tree overnight calming blemish serum on my spots.

I then leave this on overnight and it zaps away any spots or blemishes that might try and come overnight! It is amazing!

So that is everything for my first blog post. I hope you enjoyed reading about what i get up to on my pamper evenings. <3

Lots of love....
